WEEKEND RETREAT &
MASTER KOO'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
Saturday, October 7 & Sunday, October 8, 2023
The goal of this weekend retreat is to transform our understanding of Nanlaoshu and how it can benefit and enrich our lives. It will also provide the opportunity to practice fully while strengthening our friendships with one another. As we have learned from prior retreats, practitioners--new and old alike-- can benefit from deep immersion into the practice, bringing a more nuanced and profound sense of peacefulness and well-being.
Many of the teachers at our Society who have moved away from NYC are expected to participate and help teach. The Chinese Banquet dinner on Saturday night will continue our tradition of honoring our beloved founder, Master Koo, in a way he undoubtedly would have enjoyed!
SCHEDULE: On Saturday, we begin with a sitting meditation at 8:30 AM, practice until noon and break for lunch (provided at the Center). We resume practice from 3:00 - 6:00 PM and then go to dinner.
Sunday's schedule will be the same as Saturday, except that we end at 5 PM.

At the Center (22 E. 21st Street, 3rd floor).
