As of March 2023, we have modified our COVID policy for in-person classes at the Center. See the letter from the Board below.
March 20, 2023
Following the current policy changes in most of New York City’s institutions and businesses, the Nanlaoshu Board of Directors has eased the COVID policy that was put in place 3 years ago. We are no longer requiring that students who take classes at the Center must be vaccinated or wear masks. We welcome students who choose to wear masks.
If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, tested positive for COVID, or have had close contact with a COVID-positive person, please refrain from attending an in-person class.
Our schedule of classes will not change and we will continue to offer classes on Zoom. We see the value of offering both in-person and virtual classes, as this allows students to attend a class that fits their schedules and needs.
The Board will continue to monitor the COVID situation and make any adjustments to the new policy if necessary. We are mindful of the necessity of maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all members.
With warm appreciation,
Board of Directors
