Continuing our annual tradition of celebrating Master Koo's birthday, we will once again be hosting the party on Zoom. These occasions have always been special—a time when members can connect with one another and share their experiences. However this year has extra significance, as we are celebrating his 120th birthday. The completion of two 60-year cycles brings a sense of fullness and longevity to his teaching.
Master Koo said that the quality of a person's practice can be seen by simply looking at their hands. At the party we will be exploring this idea. In what ways does this resonate for you? Please send images that reflect your interpretation of Master Koo's words to Eve (eveadler@yahoo.com) by Sept. 19. She will compile them into a fun presentation to view during the party. We will also have games, demonstrations and breakout rooms for chatting, culminating with a toast to Master Koo and the practice we cherish.
