Featuring:
Chris Bergson (guitar & voice)--"one of the most inventive songwriters in modern blues music" (All Music Guide). Freddie and Chris have been friends since the 1990's when Freddie was playing and leading jazz jam sessions at AUGIE'S on the Upper West Side. It was a dive bar and Columbia hang-out populated every night with up and coming young musicians. Since then Chris has exploded as a blues guitarist, singer and band leader. While backing jazz singers including Norah Jones, he released his first blues CDs and was appointed a Jazz Ambassador of the USA, touring Africa with his trio. He has released a number of CDs since then and continues to tour the world and play at the major clubs in NYC. He was inducted into the New York Blues Hall of Fame in 2015. Neal Miner (bass) is also an old friend of both Freddie and Chris. Since the age of 19, Neal has been a solid fixture on the New York City jazz scene and is a favored bassist to a host of musicians, both rising jazz stars and jazz legends. Neal has toured and recorded with Jon Hendricks, Annie Ross and Jane Monheit (among others) performing at major festivals, jazz clubs and concert halls around the world.
